Funny isnt it? I've been to Sorsogon and Camarines Sur, but it took me 19 years to reach Rapu-Rapu. Nah! Not that i've travelled for 19 years... let's put it this way... I am already 19 years old when I got there, considering Rapu-Rapu still is a part of Albay.</span><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;font-size:130%;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;font-size:130%;"><strong><span style="font-size:180%;">T</span></strong>iring... I should say. Really... really tiring. We travelled for about three hours but it seemed to be a never ending journey. Not that I'm exaggerating things, but that was what I've felt while we were in the <em>"Tony Car",</em> It seemed that we were not moving at all. Darn... If only I could skip the travel and be at the island in a snap of a finger.</span><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;font-size:130%;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;font-size:130%;"><strong><span style="font-size:180%;">N</span></strong>oontime... Past 12 o'clock and finally we arrived. Whoa! What a relief. I just hate to travel cause it's tiring, but I would love to be in different places. The island of Rapu-Rapu? It's wonderful. I wish it could be moved nearer to the mainland. But come to think of it... it would'nt be that fascinating if its just a minute away from the mainland. Mind you... its worth it.</span><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;font-size:130%;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;font-size:130%;"><strong><span style="font-size:180%;">W</span></strong>e came there not for fun... unlike a common escapade. Its part of our ICT. I was with my friends... Ara, Zean, Ate Angel and Tat... and of course our ever beautiful Department Head Mam Mia Agu...:) (You owe me for this..hehe).</span><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;font-size:130%;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;font-size:130%;"><span style="font-size:180%;"><strong>W</strong></span>e were accomodated by the Rapu-Rapu Polymetallic Project, the company we are having our traning. We had our orientation as trainees, we familiarize the site and we had a tour in the open pit (where I gathered stones... for souvienirs) ..not to mention the free food plus the rooms we've stayed over night (thank you very much). A perfect accomodation... I should say.</span><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;font-size:130%;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;font-size:130%;"><strong><span style="font-size:180%;">E</span></strong>arly morning, and were about to live the island. It excites me... Rapu-Rapu is a beautiful place to stay, no doubt... but i really wanted to go home. And besides, we still have to work in the afternoon.</span><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;font-size:130%;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;font-size:130%;"><strong><span style="font-size:180%;">O</span></strong>ur travel home is much faster... or maybe its just me. It makes me smile... as the boat came closer and closer to the mainland. Finally... I'm home.:)</span><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;font-size:130%;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;font-size:130%;"><strong><span style="font-size:180%;">I</span></strong>t's actually the first time I've been away from the mainland, the first time to travel by water, and the first time to stay over night in a place i am not really familiar to. Interesting huh? It's a weird feeling, cause I am not really used to it. But definitely...
